FORKLIFT/ALL TERRAIN

 OPERATOR TRAINING

             This course is a 4-hour “Train the Trainer”. It allows you to have key people in your company certified to train your operators.

The OSHA standard 29CFR1926.602d (29CFR1910.178l) requires the following:

• Employees who operate forklifts be trained in both the classroom and through a practical exercise.
• Must be certified on the type of equipment that they will be running in the field.
• Employees are to be retrained when the employee is observed operating the equipment in an unsafe manner, involved in an accident or near miss, or tasked with a different type of equipment.
• When a condition in the workplace changes in a manner that could affect the safe operation of the lift.

At the end of this course, an employee will meet the requirements for the classroom training. Evaluation on the actual operation of the equipment will still be required.
