Associated Builders & Contractors is offering a Pre-Apprenticeship Pilot Program which begins April 27th, 2015. The NCCER Core curriculum will be utilized for the program. Classes will be Monday and Tuesday evenings, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for an eight week period. ABC is offering a one-time introductory tuition cost of $295. This price is 50% off the standard fee. The ABC Pre-Apprenticeship lays out a basic career path in the construction industry. These classes might be a good fit for your new hires or entry level employees.
In addition, we are offering this program in collaboration with ReConnect, Inc. The primary goal of ReConnect, Inc. is to give their clients the tools needed to transform their lives and the communities in which they live. They provide support and services to youths and adults involved in the criminal justice system or at risk of involvement. Participants who successfully complete the program achieve a credential along with fundamental skills to offer ABC members. Employers may qualify for a work opportunity tax credit by hiring one of these candidates. Please call Theresa at 402-344-4258 for more information.
